Anti-Interleukin 34, NT (IL-34, C16orf77, chromosome 16 open reading frame 77, hypothetical protein

Interleukin 34 (IL-34) is secreted as a homodimer consisting of 39kD monomers. It belongs to no known cytokine family. The mature chain contains one potential site for N-linked glycosylation. IL-34 is widely expressed, but it is most abundant in the spleen. The receptor for IL-34 is colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R). Functionally, IL-34 stimulates monocyte viability. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
