Anti-Integrin alpha 8 (ITGA8, Integrin alpha-8) (APC)

Integrin alpha 8 is a 170-200kD member of the Integrin family of adhesion molecules. It forms an exclusive non-covalent heterodimer with Integrin B1. A8b1 promotes both cell adhesion and survival and is known to bind to fibronectin, the latency-associated peptide in latent TGF-b1, and nephronectin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells. Validated for use with H4 human neuroglioma cell line., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive.
