Product information "Anti-ILK (Integrin Linked Kinase)"
Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is an ankyrin repeat-containing serine/threonine protein kinase that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of Beta-1 and Beta-3 integrins. ILK functions with multiple binding partners to transmit signals from the extracellular matrix to actin filaments, regulating such processes as cellular attachment, cell cycle progression, and cytoskeletal organization. ILK kinase activity is induced by PI3 kinase and negatively regulated by the tumor suppressor PTEN. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
