Anti-IGFALS (Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein Complex Acid Labile Subunit, ALS)

IGFALS is a serum protein that binds insulin-like growth factors, increasing their half-life and their vascular localization. Production of the protein, which contains twenty leucine-rich repeats, is stimulated by growth hormone. Defects in this protein are a cause of acid-labile subunit deficiency, which maifests itself in a delayed and slow puberty. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100, Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
