HI98 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that forms an immune complex with the CD15 antigen. CD15 (also known as X-hapten) is a transmembrane protein that is found on the surface of cells like stem cells, macrophages and granulocytes. CD15 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, in particular, Selectins. CD15 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 5800 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD15 is vital to neuroscience, cell biology and stem cells research, commonly serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to APC/XFD750 (ex/em = 756/785 nm). XFD750 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor(R) 750 (Alexa Fluor(R) is the trademark of ThermoFisher).
