Product information "Anti-HSP25 (HSP27, HSP28, CMT2F, HMN2B, 28kD heat shock protein, Estrogen-regulated 24kD protein, He"
The heat-shock proteins (HSPs) belong to a larger group of polypeptides, the stress proteins, that are induced in various combinations in response to environmental challenges and developmental transitions. Heat-shock 27-kD protein1also knows as HSPB. Synthesis of the small (27-kD) HSP has been shown to be correlated with the acquisition of thermotolerance. HSP27 gene is mapped to 7q11.23. Mutant small heat-shock protein 27 causes axonal Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and distal hereditary motor neuropathy. Heat shock protein 27 prevents cellular polyglutamine toxicity and suppresses the increase of reactive oxygen species caused by huntingtin. UniProt Number: Human(P04792), Mouse(P14602), Rat(P42930), Gene ID: HSPB1, Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Frozen), and Immunocytochemistry. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Handling: Store at -20?C for one year. After reconstitution, store at 4?C for one month. Can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20?C for long term., Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
