Anti-Homer 1

Homer1 (Homer protein homolog 1) belongs to Homer family of proteins that regulate signal transduction through, and the trafficking of, glutamate receptors, as well as maintain and regulate extracellular glutamate levels in corticolimbic brain regions. The Homer1 is enriched at excitatory synapses and binds group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blotting: 1:1000-1:2000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human Homer1 protein. , Storage and Stability:, May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
