Anti-Histidyl-tRNA Synthetase, NT (HRS, HARS, HisRS, Histidine-tRNA Ligase, FLJ20491)

Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are a class of enzymes that charge tRNAs with their cognate amino acids. HARS is a cytoplasmic enzyme which belongs to the class II family of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases. This enzyme is responsible for the synthesis of histidyl-transfer RNA, which is essential for the incorporation of histidine into proteins. The protein is a frequent target of autoantibodies in the human autoimmune disease polymyositis/dermatomyositis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
