Anti-HES1, NT (Hairy and Enhancer of Split 1, HES-1, bHLHb39, Class B Basic Helix-loop-helix Protein

HES1 belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix family of transcription factors. It is a transcriptional repressor of genes that require a bHLH protein for their transcription. HES1 has a particular type of basic domain that contains a helix interrupting protein that binds to the N-box rather than the canonical E-box. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
