Anti-GLi1 (Glioma-associated Oncogene, Kruppel (Kr) Zinc Finger Protein)

Gli1 is a member of the Krupple family of zinc finger proteins. Gli1 is activated by the sonic hedgehog pathway and influences transcription of a variety of target genes by binding to the consensus site 5'CGGGTGGTC3'. Gli1 activation leads to cellular proliferation and anti-apoptotic activities based on target genes activated. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunocytochemistry: 5-15ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
