Product information "Anti-GITRL (Glucocorticoid Induced TNF-Related Ligand, AITRL, Activation-Inducible TNF-Related Ligan"
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and TNF receptor (TNFR) superfamily members are regulators of diverse cellular functions such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival/apoptosis. The glucocorticoid-induced TNFR family-related protein (GITR, also known as TNFRSF18 and AITR) is an inducible type I transmembrane protein that modulates T cell survival. The ligand for GITR (GITR Ligand/TNFSF18, also known as AITRL or TL6) is a type II transmembrane protein expressed on endothelial cells, dendritic cells, retinal pigment epithelium and photoreceptor inner segments of the eye, and on stimulated monocytes. Stimulation by LPS and viral infection leads to enhanced expression of GITR Ligand on endothelial cells and antigen presenting cells. Interactions between GITR and GITR Ligand are believed to play a significant role in immunologic tolerance, and immune cell function in the periphery. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Absorption: 482nm-564nm , Emission: 675nm, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing PerCP conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PerCP conjugates are sensitive to light.
