Protein function: In T-cells, functions as a regulator of p38 MAPKs by inhibiting p88 phosphorylation and activity. Might affect PCNA interaction with some CDK (cell division protein kinase) complexes, stimulates DNA excision repair in vitro and inhibits entry of cells into S phase. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 91% and to rat: 88%
