Anti-FRMPD4 (PDZD10, PDZK10, Preso)

Preso, also known as FRMPD4 and PDZD10, is a scaffolding protein that is widely expressed in the brain as 140kD and 170kD species. It contains one WW domain (aa33­66) one PDZ domain (aa78­155), and one FERM domain (aa 204­519). The 140kD species is enriched in post­synaptic densities where it interacts with PSD­95, SAP97, SAP102, and F­actin. Preso promotes dendritic spine extension and maintenance as well as excitatory synaptic transmission. Within aa890­1022, human Preso shares ~94% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Preso. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
