Anti-FOS (Proto-oncogene c-Fos, Cellular Oncogene Fos, G0/G1 Switch Regulatory Protein 7, G0S7)

Cellular oncogene fos (c-Fos) is one of four Fos family proteins that associate with Jun family proteins to form the AP-1 transcription factor complex. It is thought to have an important role in signal transduction, cell proliferation and differentiation. Cellular oncogene fos (c-Fos) is constitutively sumoylated by SUMO1, SUMO2 and SUMO3. Within aa1-132, human c-Fos shares 92% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat c-Fos. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
