Anti-FcRL6 (Fc Receptor-like Protein 6, FcR-like Protein 6, Fc Receptor Homolog 6, IFGP6, FCRH6)

FCRL6 (Fc receptor-like protein 6, also FcRH6 and IFGP6) is a 66kD member of the Ig Superfamily. It is found on CD56dim CD16+ NK cells, CD56+ CD3+ NKT cells, gd T cells, and effector plus effector-memory CD8+ T cells. FCRL6 is not a receptor for immunoglobulin. It does, however, bind to isoforms of HLA-DR that are expressed on APCs. Given that FCRL6 contains a cytoplasmic ITIM, FCRL6 may function as an inhibitory receptor for MHC Class II. Mature human FCRL6 is a 415aa type I transmembrane protein. It contains a 288aa extracellular region aa20-307 that shows three C2-type Ig-like domains aa20-293, and a 106aa cytoplasmic domain. There are multiple potential splice variants. One shows a deletion of aa105-200 accompanied by a 13aa substitution for aa394-434, a second possesses a 15aa substitution for aa383-434, and a third shows an alternative start site seven aa upstream of the standard site accompanied by a 13aa substitution for aa394-434. Over aa16-312, human FCRL6 shares only 33% aa identity with the mouse counterpart to FCRL6. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
