Product information "Anti-Factor VII (F.VII, Stable Factor, Proconvertin)"
Coagulation factor VII is synthesized in the liver and circulates in the plasma where it binds to tissue factor (TF) and is rapidly converted into VIIa. The resulting 1:1 complex of VIIa and TF initiates the coagulation pathway and also has important coagulation-independent functions such as angiogenesis. The predominant splicing variant of Factor VII in normal liver corresponds to the 444aa precursor. After cleavage of a signal peptide (residues 1-38), the mature chain can be further processed into the light chain (residues 39-190) and the heavy chain (residues 191-444). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry and Direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml detected recombinant human Factor VII., Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml using conditioned cell culture medium spiked with recombinant human Factor VII., Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed PHA-stimulated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NS0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
