Anti-EpCAM (CD326, Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule, Epithelial Specific Antigen) (PE)

EGP40 is a 40-43kD transmembrane epithelial glycoprotein, al so identified as epithelial specific antigen (ESA), or epithelial cellular adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM). It is expressed on baso-lateral cell surface in most simple epithelia an d a vast majority of carcinomas. This antibody has been used to distinguish adenocarcinoma from pleural mesothelioma and hepatocellular carcinoma. This antibody is also useful i n distinguishing serous carcinomas of the ovary from mesothelioma. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul/test/10e6 cells (0.2ug), Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HT29 Cells, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
