Anti-ENO1 (Alpha-enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate Hydro-lyase, Non-neural Enolase, NNE, Enolase 1, Pho

ENO1 encodes one of three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals, it encodes alpha-enolase, a homodimeric soluble enzyme, and also encodes a shorter monomeric structural lens protein, tau-crystallin. The two proteins are made from the same message. The full length protein, the isoenzyme, is found in the cytoplasm. The shorter protein is produced from an alternative translation start, is localized to the nucleus, and has been found to bind to an element in the c-myc promoter. A pseudogene has been identified that is located on the other arm of the same chromosome. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:200-1:2000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control (Western Blot): EC109 whole cell lysate. 293T whole cell lysate, Positive Control (Immunohistochemistry): Human kidney, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
