Anti-DYRK1B (Dual Specificity Tyrosine-phosphorylation-regulated Kinase 1B, Minibrain-related Kinase

DYRK1B is a member of the DYRK/minibrain family of dual specificity tyrosine-regulated, arginine-directed protein kinases. It is a serine/threonine protein kinase which is expressed at elevated levels in normal skeletal muscle and certain carcinoma cell lines. It contains all motifs characteristic for the DYRK family of protein kinases. In addition, the protein also comprises a bipartite nuclear localization motif. The protein functions as a transactivator of a different transcription factor, HNF1a, to which it binds through the dimerization co-factor DcoH of HNF1a. Human DYRK1B gene is mapped to chromosome 19 (19q12-13.11). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
