Product information "Anti-DYH14"
Dyneins are microtubule-associated motor protein complexes composed of several heavy, light, and intermediate chains. Two major classes of dyneins, axonemal and cytoplasmic, have been identified. DNAH14 is an axonemal dynein heavy chain (DHC) (Vaughan et al., 1996 [PubMed 8812413]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008], Protein function: Force generating protein of respiratory cilia. Produces force towards the minus ends of microtubules. Dynein has ATPase activity, the force-producing power stroke is thought to occur on release of ADP. Involved in sperm motility, implicated in sperm flagellar assembly. [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: IHC-p 1:50-200. Cellular localization: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, cilium axoneme .
