Product information "Anti-DRAK1 (DAP Kinase-related Apoptosis-inducing Protein Kinase 1, Death-associated Protein Kinase-"
DRAK1 (DAP kinase-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 1, also STK17A is a 55kD member of the DAP kinase subfamily, CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family of enzymes. It is expressed in osteoclasts, resides in the nucleus, and initiates apoptosis. Human DRAK1 is 414aa in length. It contains an N-terminal polyPro segment aa33-37 followed by a Ser/Thr kinase domain aa64-321 with a catalytic loop aa84-193. Apoptosis apparently requires an intact kinase domain. No rodent DRAK1 has been reported. Over aa115-313, human DRAK1 shares 95% aa identity with canine DRAK1, and 65%aa identity with human DRAK2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
