Cytokeratin 19 (CK19) with a molecular weight of 40 kDa, it is mainly expressed in Various monolayer epithelium including glandular epithelium. Cytokeratin 19 Monoclonal is mainly used in the judging of adenocarcinoma. Hepatocytes do not express CK19, so it can be used to differentiate HCC from metastatic adenocarcinoma. Protein function: Involved in the organization of myofibers. Together with KRT8, helps to link the contractile apparatus to dystrophin at the costameres of striated muscle. [The UniProt Consortium]
