Product information "Anti-CXCR7 (G-protein Coupled Receptor 159, Chemokine Orphan Receptor 1, G-protein Coupled Receptor"
CXCR7/RDC1 is a 362aa CXC chemokine receptor involved in a number of pathobiologic processes, including cell growth, survival and adhesion, and tumor growth. It belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Though CXCR7 was previously identified as a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered as an orphan receptor in that its endogenous ligand has not been identified. It is an alternative receptor for CXCL12/SDF1 and ITAC (CXCL11) as well as acts as a co-receptor with CXCR4 for a restricted number of HIV isolates. Reports suggest that CXCR7 may act as a link between inflammation and cancer. This membrane protein is usually expressed in monocytes, basophils, and B-cells while low expression is also seen in CD4+ T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Neutralization and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 4-6ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml, Flow Cytometry (Cell surface): 1-10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
