Anti-CRK (Adapter Molecule crk, Proto-oncogene c-Crk, p38)

Crk belongs to a family of adaptor molecules that are widely expressed in numerous tissues. It was originally isolated from a chicken tumor sample, and despite lacking enzymatic activity, this protein is involved in many signal transduction pathways leading to phosphorylation of multiple proteins. Crk forms multi protein complexes via it's SH2 aa13-118 and SH3 aa132-192 and aa237-296 domains leading to activation of downstream molecules involved in growth, differentiation, cell adhesion and migration. Alternate splicing generates an additional isoform that lacks aa205-304. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
