Protein function: Component of the histone deacetylase NuRD complex which participates in the remodeling of chromatin by deacetylating histones (PubMed:9804427, PubMed:30397230). Involved in transcriptional repressiobn as part of the NuRD complex (PubMed:27068747). Required for anchoring centrosomal pericentrin in both interphase and mitosis, for spindle organization and centrosome integrity (PubMed:17626165). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 88% and to rat: 89%
