CEACAM6, also known as CD66c, NCA-90, or nonspecific cross-reacting antigen, is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell surface glycoprotein and a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is predominantly localized to the plasma membrane, where it participates in cell-cell adhesion, modulation of signaling pathways, and regulation of epithelial architecture. CD66c antibody is widely used to study epithelial differentiation and tumor-associated antigen expression in a variety of tissues.CEACAM6 is physiologically expressed in granulocytes and in epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, and biliary system.
