Anti-CDw49f (VLA6) (FITC)

CDw49f is expressed on epithelial and endothelial basement membrane. The VLA alpha-6 chain, which consists of a single disulfide linked 120kD subunit and a small doublet subunit of 25/30kD, is non-covalently associated with the VLA beta-chain (CD29) in VLA-6 or alpha 6/beta 1 complex or with integrin beta 4 chain (alpha 6/beta 4). The antigen is also expressed on platelets, monocytes, thymocytes and T lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells, Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Source: Tissue culture supernatant, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
