Anti-CD5 (Lymphocyte Antigen T1/Leu 1, p56 62, T cell Surface Glycoprotein CD5, T1) (APC)

CD5, a member of the scavenger receptor superfamily of cell surface receptors, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein whose ligand is CD72. It is expressed on most thymocytes, all mature T cells, and a subset of B cells (B-1 cells). CD5 plays a role in regulation of T cell activation and signaling. Applications:  Flow cytometry,  Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections),  Western blotting,  Immunoprecipitation, Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 2ul/10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
