Anti-CD49e (VLA-5, Integrin alpha5 Chain), Phycoerythrin conjugated, clone 5K15

CD49e/CD29 heterodimeric fibronectin receptor. It is expressed on thymocytes, activated T cells, mast cells, and a variety of mouse cell lines. Soluble antibody inhibits VLA-5-mediated functions in vitro.1, 2-4, 6 Immobilized antibody has also been demonstrated to co-stimulate the proliferative response of CD8+ T cells to plate-bound anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody. Applications:  Flow cytometry 1,  In vitro blocking of adhesion 1, 2-4, 6,  Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) ,  T-cell co-stimulation 3, Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: < 0.3ug/10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
