The antigen L3T4 is expressed by the helper/inducer subset of murine T-cells. The antigen is present on approximately 80% of thymocytes, 20% of spleen cells and 60% of lymph node cells. The expression of L3T4 correlates with class II MHC antigen reactivity on cloned T-cell lines. Applications: Suitabe for use in FACS, Immunofluorescence, Depletion, Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cyotmetry: 1ug to stain 1x10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from rat.
