Anti-CD34 (Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Antigen CD34)

CD34 is a monomeric cell surface antigen with a molecular mass of approximately 110kD that is selectively expressed on human hematopoietic progenitor cells. CD34 is a member of a family of single-pass transmembrane sialomucin proteins that show expression on early hematopoietic and vascular-associated tissue. CD34 is also an important adhesion molecule and is required for T cells to enter lymph nodes. It is expressed on lymph node endothelia whereas the L-selectin to which it binds is on the T cell. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: Frozen, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
