Hematopoietic progenitor cell antigen CD34(CD34) is a monomeric cell surface antigen with a molecular mass of approximately 110kD that is selectively expressed on human hematopoietic progenitor cells. CD34 is a heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane molecule, that can be phoshorylated by a variety of kinases including Protein kinase C and Tyrosine kinases. CD34 is hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells possess the potentials of self-renewal, proliferation, and differentiation toward different lineages of blood cells. It is highly expressed on hematopoietic progenitor, as well as on endothelial cells, brain, and testis, Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
