Anti-CD3, epsilon (Early T Cell Marker), clone 5G36

CD3 consists of five different polypeptide chains (designated as gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta). The CD3 complex is closely associated at the lymphocyte cell surface with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR). It is involved in signal transduction to the T cell interior following antigen recognition. CD3 antigen is a highly specific marker for T cells, and is present in majority of T cell neoplasms. Epitope: Cytoplasmic region of e chain. , Applications:, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): (Ab 1:10-1:20 for 30 min at RT) Staining of formalin-fixed tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive Control: Tonsil , Cellular Localization: Cell membrane, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
