Anti-CD3 (Early T Cell Marker), clone 3H699

Rat CD3 a 25kD antigen which is found on rat T-cells. Does not react with rat B cells. In immunohistology it stains rat thymus tissues strongly in the medulla and weakly in the cortex. Functionally the addition of the antibody to a culture of rat T cells induces the proliferation of T-cells in the presence of PMA. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25. Use 10ul label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Immunohistochemistry: (frozen)- 1:10-1:25, (paraffin) requires Antigen retreval, Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
