Anti-CD29 (Fibronectin receptor subunit beta, FNRB, GPIIA, Integrin beta-1, MDF2, MSK12, VLA-4 subun

Human CD29 is the beta subunit of an integrin family of molecules expressed on diverse cell types which function as the major receptors for extracellular matrix and as cell-cell adhesion molecules. CD29 can form heterodimer pairs with at least nine different alpha subunits. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5x10e5 cultured human HPB-MLT cells were washed and incubated 45 min on ice with 80ul of anti-CD29 antibody at a concentration of 10ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.3 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
