Anti-CD244 (CD244 Molecule, Natural Killer Cell Receptor, 2B4)

This gene encodes a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells (and some T cells) that mediate non-major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restricted killing. The interaction between NK-cell and target cells via this receptor is thought to modulate NK-cell cytolytic activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:64,000, Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml ~75kD band observed in Human Natural Killer (NK) cell lysates after immunoprecipitation with mouse monoclonal antibody C1.7 coupled to Protein G agarose (calculated MW of 41.1kD according to NP_057466.1). We do note that CD244 is a glycoprotein which makes a higher size band to be expected. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
