Anti-CD11c (Integrin alpha-X, CD11 Antigen-like Family Member C, Leu M5, Leukocyte Adhesion Glycopro

CD11c is a 145-150kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as integrin alphaX and CR4. CD11c non-covalently associates with integrin B2 (CD18) and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11c has been reported to play a role in adhesion and CTL killing through its interactions with fibrinogen, CD54, and iC3b. This antibody preferentially binds the activated form of CD11c, is specific for I domain of CD11c, and is able to partially block the binding of CD11c and ICAM-4. Binding is divalent cation dependent. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: <2ug/10e5 cells in 100ul, Immunohistochemistry: acetone-fixed, frozen tissue sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
