Anti-CD106 (Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule-1, VCAM-1, INCAM-110) (PE)

Human CD106 is an endothelial adhesion molecule that binds to a4 b1 & a4b7 integrins (VLA-4) and promotes adhesion of lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils. CD106 is also found on follicular dendritic cells, interdigitating recticulum cells and Kupffer cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and blocks lymphocyte adhesion to CD106.. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. Cultured human umbilical cord vein endothelialcells were stimulated 4 hours with 10ng/ml Phorbol 12-Myristate 13-Acetate. , 2. Five x 10e5 cells per tube were harvested, washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2446-71J at a 1:50 dilution. , 3. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed on a BD FACstar plus. , 4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.36 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/R-PE negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was 93% blocked when pre incubated 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5 mg/ml of C2446-71F. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only pror to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
