Product information "Anti-Caspase-3, cleaved (Alexa Fluor_488) (CPP32, SCA-1, Apopain)"
Caspase 3 (CPP-32, Apoptain, Yama, SCA-1) is one of the key executioners of apoptosis, as it is either partially or totally responsible for the proteolytic cleavage of many key proteins such as the nuclear enzyme poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) (1). Activation of Caspase 3 requires proteolytic processing of its inactive zymogen into activated p17 and p12 fragments. Cleavage of Caspase 3 requires aspartic acid at the P1 position (2). Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50, Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4°C. Freezing Alexa Fluor(R) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Alexa Fluor(R) conjugates are sensitive to light.
