Anti-Calcineurin alpha (CNA, CALNA, PPP3CA, Serine/Threonine-protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subuni

Calcineurin is a major calmodulin binding protein in the brain. It is a holoenzyme composed of a calmodulin binding subunit, a catalytic alpha subunit (calcineurin A) and a calcium binding beta subunit (calcineurin B). The calcineurin A subunit has at least two isoforms in bovine brain, alpha 1 (61kD) and alpha 2 (59kD). Application: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH20. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
