Brn3a (transcription factor 1 (brain specific homeobox/POU domain protein 3A) POU4F1, POU domain, class 4, RDC-1) is a transcription factor specifically expressed in cells of the developing mammalian nervous system. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500 detected Brn3A on 10ug of bovine and rat retina lysates., Immunocytochemistry: 1:500 detected Brn3A in HeLa and A431 lysates., Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200-1:1000 for tissue., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Rat and bovine retina, Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb, I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb, I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
