Anti-Bone Morphogenetic Protein7 (BMP7, OP-1, Osteogenic Protein-1))

BMP-7 (bone morphogenetic protein-7), also known as OP-1 (osteogenic protein-1), is a member of the transforming growth factor beta(TGF beta) superfamily. BMP-7 plays an essential role during ontogeny of the mammalian eye and kidney, also, is expressed in heart, lung, small intestine, limb bud and teeth. In addition, noggin, one of the soluble BMP antagonists, regulated the action of BMPs on mesenchymal precursor cells, partially through a feedback type of inhibition. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, IOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50%, glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer., ,
