Anti-BCAR3 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. At least four isoforms of BCAR3 are known to exist, this antibody will only recognize the largest isoform. BCAR3 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other BCAR proteins. Protein function: May act as an adapter protein and couple activated growth factor receptors to a signaling pathway that regulates the proliferation in breast cancer cells. When overexpressed, it confers anti-estrogen resistance in breast cancer cell lines. May also be regulated by cellular adhesion to extracellular matrix proteins. [The UniProt Consortium]
