Product information "Anti-Aquaporin-6 (WCH3, hKID, AQP2-L)"
AQP6 (WCH3 or hKID or AQP2-like, 282 aa, 29kD, chromosome 12q13) is found only in the kidney with low water permeability. AQP families of proteins are predicted to contain six transmembrane domains. The N and C-terminus are predicted to be cytoplasmic. AQP6 shows greatest homology with hMIP (48%) and hAQP-2 (52%). It also has similarity with human MIWC (AQP4, 34%), CHIP-28 (AQP1, 38%), and GLIP (AQP3, 22%). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 using Chemiluminescence technique., ELISA: 1:10,000-1:50,000. Coat ELISA plate with 1ug/ml control peptide., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Control Peptide: A3000-25D: Aquaporin 6, Human, Control Peptide (WCH3, hKID, AQP2-L), Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
