Anti-Allergin-1 (Allergy Inhibitory Receptor 1, C17orf60, MCA32, Mast Cell Antigen, MCA32-1S2, MILR1

Allergin-1, also known as Mast Cell Antigen (MCA32) and c17orf60, is a 70kD member of the Ig superfamily. It is expressed on mast cells, basophils, neutrophils, and macrophages, and is reported to negatively regulate allergic mediator release from mast cells. In particular, Allergin-1 interacts with FcepsilonRI. Upon IgE-mediated FcepsilonRI aggregation and activation, Allergin-1 recruits Tyr phosphatases to FcepsilonRI tetrameric complexes, dampening IgE receptor downstream signaling. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul, 1x10e6 cells , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at 12 months at 4°C. Freezing allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. Allophycocyaninconjugates are sensitive to light.
