Protein function: Catalyzes the exchange of the acyl chain in acyl- dihydroxyacetonephosphate (acyl-DHAP) for a long chain fatty alcohol, yielding the first ether linked intermediate, i.e. alkyl- dihydroxyacetonephosphate (alkyl-DHAP), in the pathway of ether lipid biosynthesis. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 95% and to rat: 96%
