Protein function: Cleaves the propeptides of type I and II collagen prior to fibril assembly. Does not act on type III collagen. Cleaves lysyl oxidase LOX at a site downstream of its propeptide cleavage site to produce a short LOX form with reduced collagen-binding activity (PubMed:31152061). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 72% and to rat: 71%
