Protein function: Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, that exhibits maximal activity towards saturated C22-CoA (PubMed:21237683). Probably participates in beta-oxydation and energy production but could also play a role in the metabolism of specific fatty acids to control fatty acids composition of cellular lipids in brain (Probable). [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 76% and to rat: 80%
