Protein function: Responsible for the thiolytic cleavage of straight chain 3- oxoacyl-CoAs. Catalyzes the cleavage of short, medium and long straight chain 3-oxoacyl-CoAs, medium chain 3-oxoacyl-CoAs being the best substrates. [The UniProt Consortium] Validated by genetic and standard strategies. Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 88% and to rat: 87%. Epitope specificity: GAIMARIAQFLSDIP.
