Anti-a1Acid Glycoprotein, CT (Alpha-1-acid Glycoprotein 1, AGP 1, Orosomucoid-1, OMD 1, AGP1, ORM1)

a1 Acid Glycoprotein is a key acute phase plasma protein. Because of its increase due to acute inflammation, this protein is classified as an acute-phase reactant. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined, however, it may be involved in aspects of immunosuppression. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:1000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
